Monitoring of Land and Coastal Areas

Environmental monitoring plays a central role in diagnosing climate and human activity impact on nature thus enhancing the forecasting of disasters. UAV mounted sensors offer an extraordinary opportunity to bridge the existing gap between field observations and traditional air and space-borne remote sensing, by providing high spatial detail over relatively large areas in a cost-effective way in addition to an entirely new capacity for enhanced temporal retrieval. Using drone technology, we can map and survey a variety of environmental factors for organisations to make informed decisions that will protect humanity and nature.

Combating Desertification

Our UAVs can be used to monitor and document the various variables that cause desertification in dry lands, including overgrazing, aridity and vegetation loss.

Shrinking Lake Chad Basin

Lake Chad, in the Sahel region has shrunk by 90% over the last 40 years, primarily due to increased agricultural and municipal water withdrawals, but also due in-part to climate change and persistent droughts. The depleting Lake has become an economic and security issue facing West Africa. Our drones can be utilized for effective water and security management.

Maritime & Border Control

In the maritime environment, drones can be used for security, environmental monitoring, search and rescue, as well as ship and cargo inspection. Traditional approach to border monitoring by video cameras, ground sensors, land vehicles and manned aircraft are cumbersome and expensive. To efficiently control the movement of people and goods across the borders, the adoption of drone technologies is of paramount importance. Our UAVs are equipped with high-resolution daylight and thermal cameras to provide real-time reconnaissance, target acquisition, and tracking movement of people and illegal activities to secure international borders.
